Is Work A Four Letter Word?
It has been my unfortunate experience as of late to run across a number of people who want to make money, but don't really want to work for it. As I look around I see many others capitalizing on this trend to a huge degree. One posting on Facebook reads, Turn $7 Into $19,659.60 Monthly Residual Income In 28 Days Or Less". Now it's easy to agree that in a perfect world with two getting two on down the line, this would be possible if they did it within a particular period of time. Obviously, that won't happen. I'm only using this company as an example, I don't even know what company it is, I never clicked on the link to see, it's just the claim I'm focusing on here.
What attracts people to offers like this is very little money out of pocket AND very little effort on their part. But that's where they are wrong. It will take a TREMENDOUS amount of effort to make a program like this pay off, if it ever does. You can't count on two getting two because most will drop the ball. If you want it done, you have to be willing to do it yourself. So you spend a lot of effort on a program like this or you get nothing out of it, then you complain that it was a scam because you didn't get almost $20K for your $7.
Why not instead start working with a company that focuses on products and/or services that people are known to actually use day to day? Why not spend some of that effort to promote your business so others will know you actually ARE in business?
Money? Expect to invest some. If you don't, then don't expect a return.
Time? Expect to invest even more. If you don't, then don't expect a return.
Effort? Expect to invest here too. If you don't, then don't expect a return.
It's a business, the same as if you opened a brick and mortar store. Treat it like one and it will treat you a whole lot better.
