IPU CET 2016 Counselling

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi will organise counselling round for those candidates who have qualified entrance exam for IP.  University will upload counselling notification on 30 May 2016. The procedure includes online registration and document verification followed by choice filling of seats. Entrance exam was conducted on 8 May 2016.

Official notification has been announced saying that IPU CET 2016 Counselling news will be uploaded. Counselling for eleven programmes will be organised by the university. The detailed schedule would be seen on the website. Interested candidate should visit the website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in for latest updates and counselling notification. IPU CET 2016 Counselling Procedure

IPU University performs counselling in three rounds usually. This year university may continue with the same tradition , wait for the notice. Read below to know more about counselling.

Online registration and Fee Payment

• Candidate willing to attend counselling has to pay a non-refundable fee of 1000/-.  IPU has provided the option of fee payment through internet banking/ debit/ credit card and last option through Indian bank challan.  
• Remember if the candidate pays fee and expects to it to be refunded by the university in any case then it will not be possible. payment can be viewed on the website.
•  Aspirant will get a slip of fee payment confirmation, in case if the system does not generate the receipt, contact to the university authorities by contact number and email. The problem will be resolved within fixed time.

Step By Step procedure to register online

•  Candidate willing to register , visit the website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in
•  After that select the course you have applied for admission and enter a password, the candidate will be redirected to the portal.
• Enter bank reference id. Fill the details required on the page like name, address , contact information etc.
• For the next step, for login enter password.
•  In any issue generated in this process should be immediately told to authorities. University authority will try to give a solution.

Login to the website by entering CET Roll number and password. Fill the seat preference, choice of college and choice of course. After the first round of IPU CET 2016 Counselling, the candidate will be allowed to make changes in choice. Two printouts of registration form required on for submission and another one is for future use.

Document needed for Counselling

Admit card of IPUCET, Rank score card CET 2016, 12th class marks sheet ,Online application form print out, Allotment letter , Date of birth certificate/ 10th marks sheet, Reserved category certificate (if candidate applied for reservation), Medical certificate for PwD, Character certificate, receipt of partial fee payment of 40000/-.

The GGSIPU will allot the seats for admitting students into various undergraduate engineering courses for the academic session 2016-17

Management  Quota & Open House Counselling

Management quota is for those candidates who have cleared CET but aren't able to get admission during the counselling round.  They can apply.  After the two rounds of IPU CET 2016 Counselling , if seats remain vacant then the university will do open house counselling. It will be based on  candidate's ranking according to merit.
