Ihram from parallel of Miqats

Indeed, Ihram is the compulsory rite of pilgrimage either major or minor. This is actually white cloth consisting of two pieces that are worn in different ways from men and women pilgrims in order to perform Hajj or Umrah. Without wearing Ihram, pilgrimage is not completed.

However, there are several Miqats (places of wearing Ihram) where it is worn by pilgrims who come from different directions. The objective of Miqat for the pilgrims who go to Mecca in order to perform Hajj or Umrah is that they reach the place that Miqat is in their right or left side in the way that if they pass that point, then Miqat is behind them.

And if they do not recognize the position of parallel place then they wear Ihram by Nazr supposing that is the parallel Miqat.

Whenever pilgrims pass a way that is not parallel to any of Miqats (like Jeddah) it is a precaution to go Miqat and must wear Ihram. And if it is not either possible then wear Ihram from any place that can be paralleled to one of Miqats. So, they renew the Ihram when they reach the first point of Haram (around Mecca) (which means makes the intention again and says Labbayk). In the issue of the parallel place to a Miqat, there is no difference between desert and sea.

Parallel Miqat must be testified of two impartial witnesses. And if it is not proved by two ways then when solid supposition is acquired from the expression of those who are well- informed of those Miqats, so it is sufficient. Moreover, if a solid assumption is acquired from the expression of professionals who allocate the parallel Miqat by scientific rules then it seems to be enough.
