Is it hard to be a working mom or a mom who stays at home? How do you deal with the holidays that ha

by Jack John Writing

The best part is that we all got to spend some good time together as a family. If not, everyone is so busy that it's hard to find time to spend together. So, the pandemic taught us how important it is to spend time with family and how important it is to stay healthy and happy.

During a pandemic, WFH was a real challenge. At first, taking care of the kids, their online classes, my one job, and household chores were too much, but we all got used to it over time. I love holidays, and I make sure that my kids and family are there for all the fun. Putting things in order of importance can help you plan.

Do you make time to think about your health?

Pandemics taught us all to put our health first, so I make sure to eat well and exercise. I try to give myself time to walk, meditate, and take short breaks to think about my health.

How do you choose which children's book to read to your children?

My kids are older now, but when they were younger, I would choose books for them based on their age and what would be fun for them, not just what would teach them something. I think that reading is the best thing a child can do, and they should start as soon as they can.

What things help you stay on top of your day and make time for everyone and everything? Is there a certain method or time planner you use?

Tell us about your time management techniques! I check my emails and answer them first thing in the morning. Then I make a list of things I need to do that day. I plan my day based on how much content I need to make in one day. I usually like to write in the morning and make videos in the afternoon. When it's important, one brand video or post can take up the whole day. So, every day is different for a person who makes content.

It's not easy to stick to the plan because making content takes a long time and involves shooting, making, and editing. I can't work without a list of things to do or an organizer. The first thing I do when I wake up is making a list of things I need to do that day. You can't do everything on your list when you're a mom, but setting priorities is the key.

The best piece of advice you have ever gotten about being a mother

My parents taught me the best things I know about being a mother. They say that balance is the most important thing, so I try to do what they do. I want to tell all the moms out there to make sure they have time for the things that make them happy. Don't give up on your dreams just because you're a mom. Follow your dreams and give yourself some time to yourself every day.

How do you deal with your child not being able to control their emotions?

As a mother of teenagers, I see a lot of angry outbursts and changes in mood. In fact, it happens at all stages of being a parent, but a mom blog should know how to deal with it. First, I try to stay calm and give them some time to themselves. Later, I don't judge what they have to say and just listen. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The most important thing is to be there for them when they need you.

How do you feel about "Emotional Social Parenting"?

I don't know much about it, but I think it has something to do with teaching kids how to handle their feelings better so they can have good relationships in the future. The mom blog helps you to get new tips.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever gotten about being a mother? What advice do you have for the moms who read our blog?

Even though the days are long, the years go by quickly. How quickly time goes by! I remember being so tired that I could barely make it to my kids' afternoon nap so that I could also sleep. I wish I had taken more pictures and videos of my kids and written down the funny things they said. I wish I had written down everything we did together because my memories get fuzzy, especially when I didn't get enough sleep.

I would tell readers of Mommy to enjoy every moment, good or bad. Things will get better. Kindness will always be a warm memory. Take many pictures and videos. Keep a journal and write down the things about your kids that make you feel good. DATES everything.
