The museum itself was founded back in 1815, as a result of Johann Fridrich’s donation of invaluable artifacts to the city.

The museum boasts a fascinating series of paintings that date back to the 1300s. These include paintings by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Vermeer, Van Eyck, and Hieronymus Bosch.

The Main Tower

The Main Tower is a 200-meter tall skyscraper that was inaugurated in 2000. It is considered as the fourth tallest building in Frankfurt. As a result of this, it is also the fourth tallest in Germany.

The Frankfurt Cathedral

The Frankfurt Cathedral carries a great amount of historical importance, dating back to the days when the Holy Roman Empire was at its peak.

The church has been built in the Gothic style, and its construction began somewhere in the 1300s and 1400s. Since then, it has been rebuilt two times.
