How to Fix Error Code 15241 in QuickBooks

QuickBooks Error 15241 is a payroll update error. It occurs when QuickBooks is not able to download payroll updates, since it is related to payroll function. It might trouble you in installing the updates in the proper manner. 

 

Symptoms of Error 15241:


The system may crash.    

PCs might tend to freeze. 

System may respond in a sluggish manner. 

 

What causes Error 15241?

 

·        Background apps may cause this error. 

·        Damaged File copy services.

·        Improper shutdown of the system. 

·        Important files would have gotten deleted. 

·        Antivirus, malware or spyware may cause this error to arise. 

 

Ways to fix Error 15241.

 

For Window XP users:

·         First, close the QuickBooks. 

·        Go to desktop<< My computer<<  Click Manage.

·        From the new screen, click on Services and application<< Click Services.

·        On Services page<< Go to Intuit QuickBooks FCS services.

·        Select ‘General tab’ in this window<< select ‘Startup type<< click on manual.

·        Reboot QuickBooks<< Update QuickBooks and payroll tax table. 




For windows 7, 8, 10 and vista users:

 

·        Close the QuickBooks and open the taskbar. 

·        Select the Windows start button and from my computer go to Manage option. 

·        On the new screen<< Services and application<< Click Services.

·        On Services page<< Go to Intuit QuickBooks FCS services.

·        Select ‘General tab’ << select ‘Startup type<< click on manual.

·        Reboot QuickBooks<< Update QuickBooks and payroll tax table.
