How Expecting Moms in Aylesbury are Taking Care of Their Nutrition

by Alice Thomas Writer

Greetings to all expecting moms living in Aylesbury! Nutrition is a significant part of any pregnancy. It has always been said by our mothers and grannies that if you take good care of your nutrition by eating well and drinking well, you give birth to a healthy baby or babies. Even this stands true today, many OB-GYN doctors recommend following a nutritious diet during pregnancy for a healthy and complication-free pregnancy.

Speaking of healthy pregnancies, now you can know the progression of your pregnancy and well-being of your baby by simply getting an ultrasound baby scan from a well-reputed baby scan clinic in Aylesbury. While going to your ultrasound baby scan clinic, do not forget to wear a mask and disposable gloves and definitely carry an alcohol-infused hand sanitizer and some antiseptic sanitizing wipes.

We asked some expecting moms living in Aylesbury - how they are taking good care of their nutrition during pregnancy. Well, the replies are mentioned below for you to see! Take a look at what they have to say and we hope you learn something!

Mrs Baker: "I'm a huge fan of eating well. Pregnancy made me more enthusiastic about eating healthy and clean. I drink kale and spinach smoothie every single day. I make sure that I drink a glass of coconut water as soon as I wake up in the morning to conquer the world. I also eat dry fruits, like almonds, cashew nuts, apricots, and of course, my favourite walnuts. I just can't live without walnuts. My advice to all pregnant women would be that eat what you like and definitely stay away from strong-smelling foods, at least during the first trimester of pregnancy. One more thing, listen to what your doctor is telling you. There is something more that you must know and that is to not try consuming anything new during pregnancy, just to be on the safer side".

Mrs Green: "To be honest, I am so not a big fan of vegetables. Yes, I hate veggies even today when I am 31 years old. But pregnancy is making me eat them. So, yeah, I usually eat vegetables in the form of soups, stews, and juices. Recently, I had tomato juice and I have to say tomato juice tastes divine. Tomato juice is rich in vitamins and mineral which is needed for my baby's development. So, yes, tomato juice is the new addition I fancy during pregnancy. I think every pregnant mother must consider adding tomato juice in her pregnancy diet".

Mrs. Johansson: "I have always been a healthy eater. No matter wherever I am or wherever I go, I ensure to eat nothing but wholesome and homecooked food. During pregnancy, I have continued the ritual of eating nutritious food. I eat whole grains, soybeans, kidney beans, eggs, turkey, chicken, salmon, pork, and pulses. I like vegetables a lot too, so, in vegetables, I eat spinach, broccoli, kale, brussels sprouts, lettuce, tomatoes, and cauliflower. Whenever I don't feel like eating anything for lunch, I fix myself a wholesome salad of fresh fruits and veggies with limited seasonings. I don't season my salads much to maintain the nutritional content of my veggies".

Mrs Thompson: "For me, nutrition during pregnancy is something as important as day and night. I always watch what I eat. During pregnancy, I ensure to drink bone broth two times a day. I love eggs a lot so I eat 2-3 boiled eggs seasoned with black pepper and salt with buttered toast and tea for my breakfast. My lunch usually entails larger sandwiches, meat casserole, and salads. Whenever I get hunger pangs, I eat pumpkin or banana chips, fox nuts, and multigrain cookies or muffins. Dear expecting mummas, trust me multigrain muffins are the best, do try them and you and the baby inside you will fall in love with them".
