If you have specific skills and wish to migrate to Australia, then you can make use of Australia’s Skilled Migration program. There are various visa categories under skilled migration. Eligibility for these visas is based on a points-based system. Points are given based on age, educational qualification, English language skills. You must score a minimum of 65 points to be eligible for this visa. If your occupation is in demand and appears in the Skilled Occupation List, then you will have more visa options.

Skilled Migration Program
There are various visas under which you apply to migrate to Australia as a skilled worker and get a job. The basic eligibility requirements under the Australia Skilled Migration program are:
Your age must be under 45 years.
Your skill must feature in the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List of the government.
Your skills must be assessed by a designated assessing authority related to your nominated occupation.
You must have good health which will be assessed by designated authorities
You must have good character which again will be assessed by relevant authorities

Australia regularly publishes a list of over 300 occupations in its occupation lists-
These lists give details of occupations where the country faces a skill shortage which prospective migrants can check and then apply for a visa.
If you have the required skills for these occupations or are already working in an occupation in any of these lists, then you can apply under any one of the visas under the Skilled Migration program.
