The meaning of the ablation means destroying. It is the use of ethanol injection that is put on to the cancer cells to eliminate them. Pain and feverish sensations are the side effects of this treatment. There are many ablation methods like thermal ablation which comprises two methods radiofrequency ablation and microwave ablation.

• Radiotherapy

High energy x-ray or other materials are used to eliminate the cancer cells. There are two techniques of radiotherapy one is the Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and Radioembolization.
