Ghanshyam Sarda to be part of monorail project

A multi crore monorail project is all set to come up in the city of Kolkata. The city of Kolkata has a massive population and faces regular traffic related snarls. Commuters face a regular problem in reaching for their office work.  The transportation system in the city certainly requires a lift. Off late the city has witnessed several transportation related problems. Several buses and taxi strikes have occurred in the city which has resulted in a massive problem for the commuters. 

Ghanshyam Sarda is one of the renowned industrialists from the city of Kolkata. Over the years, he has made multifarious investments in some of the sectors like jute, education, food processing and chemicals.  With a widespread and diverse investment portfolio to its credit, the monorail sector also features in the upcoming plans. It is not very easy to plan, design and execute a monorail project of grand stature. Scomi Engineering is considered as a globally recognized monorail giant and has already completed monorail projects in some of the important cities like Mumbai, Kualalampur and Sao Paolo. The Mumbai monorail project has been quite a major hit among the commuters and was initiated in the year 2014. Similarly, the project which is scheduled to come up in the city of Kolkata has an estimated investment of close to 3,000 crores. 

In the business summit which was held in the country of Singapore, the members from the Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group conducted a detailed discussion with those from Scomi Engineering. A variety of theoretical and practical aspects about the project were talked out in the meeting. The objective of the project is to create new job opportunities for the youth of the state.  The youth are certainly looking for a project of such a large magnitude and want it to take shape effectively.
