Ghanshyam Sarda plays pivotal part to stand behind jute sector

The stalemate in the jute sector has turned into a distress for the industry. Recently, the CEO at the Northbrook jute mill was brutally murdered. The murder at Northbrook jute mill has sent great shivers down the spine of the industry. The industry has not benefitted at all and witnessed a very heavy  setback over the years. The central and state government has been hardly able to do anything for the  benefit of the industry. There has hardly been any kind of investment for the jute sector and new ventures have not been initiated as yet. 

Ghanshyam Sarda is one of the  frontline  business leaders from the city of Kolkata. He has invested in multiple projects over the years and reached the  pinnacle of success.  He owns several jute mills across India and has made a great name for himself.

Considered as one of the born leaders in the jute sector, the industry has mostly benefitted from his ventures. The current situation in the jute industry has bothered him to the core. A number of positive things need to happen for then jute sector and the Sarda group wants this stalemate to end at the earliest. 

A multiple number of unions have come up in the jute industry as well. Unionism has also led to a severe problem with intervention from local political leaders. Around 12 lakh people in the industry have been already affected by the stalemate.  The Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group is quite worried about this problem. 

The stalemate in the jute sector has affected the industry to the core. New orders have not arrived in the jute sector which has acted as a hindrance for the industry.  For example, the incident at the Northbrook jute mill has resulted in a loss of work for 4,200 workers. The Northbrook jute mill has been hugely affected by the stalemate and operations have closed down completely. 

The lack of orders has made the jute mill owners rethink their business ventures. Many of the jute mills in the industry have closed down. The entire industry is on the verge of closure and the jute industry leaders need to take a unified stand in this regard. An appointment with the current chief minister of West Bengal has been called for in this regard. The chief minister has been calling upon for industrialization in the state and matters need to be taken care of at the earliest.
