Ghanshyam Sarda extends cohesive support to jute industry

The scenario of the jute industry in the state of West Bengal is in a torrid condition.  The very recent murder which happened at the Northbrook Jute mill can be cited as a perfect example.  The industry leaders are facing a very difficult time in handling this crisis and it has already sent major shockwaves to the whole sector.  The North brook murder happened due to fallout between the workers and management as far as pay structures are concerned. The CEO was also surrounded and brutally murdered in broad daylight which signals the wrath of the workers towards the management. 

A major number of citizens in the state of West Bengal relies on the jute industry for their living. The murder which happened in the Northbrook Jute mill has acted as a major setback to the industry and the workers are not happy with the functioning of the management at the various jute mills.  Most of the families of the workers working at the Northbrook jute mill is in wretched condition. As per the version of the owner of the Northbrooke jute mill, the murder at the jute mill has been caused by anti socials and the normal workers should not be blamed at all. 

Ghanshyam Sarda is one of the most high profile business leaders from the city of Kolkata and has always contributed to the development of the sector. But the sudden murder of the CEO at the Northbrook jute mill has also taken him up by surprise. As per the workers who have been working at the jute mill for a long time,  a revised wage structure has been demanded by them. But as of now, the management has not been able to provide any kind of  solution in this regard. 

The members from the Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group have already protested such a heinous incident where a person of CEO level has been brutally killed at broad daylight. A variety of union related problems have affected the sector for a long time and it has taken a major toll on the sector. Already a meeting with the West Bengal chief minister has been called upon in this regard and new measures needs to be taken at the earliest.
