Get Virtual Credit Card To Verify Alertpay, Paypal & Shop Online!

by Nishit Dave Pixworthy
Greetings All Apsense Members!

I am surprised to know that there is not even one relevant article about Virtual Credit Cards on this directory so I thought let's add one which will help our fellow Apsense members to promote their business in a better way.

This article applies to the following group of people:

1. Have a debit card but cannot use it online due to limited acceptability on merchant sites.
2. Have a Paypal account but cannot verify the status due to unavailability of credit card.
3. Have a alertpay account but cannot verify due to the same reason as mentioned in #2.
4. Have a verified Paypal account through bank with limited deposit or withdrawal limit.
5. Have a verified Alertpay account through bank with same reason as mentioned in #4.
6. Have a credit card but not willing to link Alertpay or Paypal due to security reasons.

7. Specially for Indians: Have a debit card but cannot qualify for a credit card.

I feel most internet marketers have similar problems as I mentioned above. There may be other services available where you need to pay a third person an exorbitant price to get some Alertpay or Paypal dollars to fund your account or request a friend for credit card assistance.

Well, there is a solution and you will not have to pay a dime from your pocket or get stuck at some phishing site revealing all your personal details. I will mention the steps below for your convenience and in case you need any assistance you can revert back to me.

Step by Step Instructions

1. Go to www.entropay.com and register for a free account.
2. Link your debit card to your Entropay account.
3. Fill out your application with all the details.
4. Copy the virtual credit card number, expiry date and the CSV/CVV number.
5. Verify the email confirmation which you receive in activate the service.(check your spam in case you don't see it in the inbox).
6. Log-in to your Entropay account and click on load card.
7. Use the currency convertor option to check how much you wish to fund the virtual card.
8. Use the CSV/CVV number (from your original debit card) to confirm the fund loading to your virtual card.
9. Verify if the virtual credit card has been funded and also check the transaction statement which is provided by Entropay (note - it takes 2 days to reflect the transactions so don't be impatient)
10. Use the virtual credit card to verify Alertpay, Paypal and shop online on any merchant sites of your choice.

***Loading fee charged by Entropay is 5% on every funding/transaction.
***Paypal verification charge is $1.95 which will be refunded once your virtual credit card is linked and confirmed.
***Alertpay verification charge is somewhat similar with the same procedures as mentioned above.

If the procedures mentioned in the article helps you to resolve similar problems, do not forget to LIKE this article :)

Hi Vishwajeet, In case you don't have a debit card then you can apply for one with your savings or current account and get it. You only need a debit card to fund your online virtual credit card. Entropay does not provide the option to link your savings or current bank account directly to fund the virtual credit card at this moment.

Ok! If I add a Debit Card, How Much It Will charged My Card?

Entropay will not charge anything to link or add your debit card. It will only charge 5% of the amount which is loaded on the virtual credit card. For example: If you load USD 100 or INR 4500 to your virtual credit card then Entropay will add $5 so the total amount transferred from your debit card would be USD 105. There is NO charge to add or link debit cards. I have linked 4 of them as of now and none were charged.

Dibakar, There can be few reasons for this. Currently Alertpay is resolving some issues with Visa and MasterCard which is why they are not accepting any direct funding from any of these payment processors. This might be the primary reason why you can't get it verified.

Hi, Nishit

Hope you are doing fine there. I have a question again.
Can I have a direct bank transfer from Alertpay through entropay into my SBI bank savings account?
Or if you know any other online method for converting alertpay dollars in to INR (receiving cash in Bank a/c)

Hi Dibakar,

I have never tried transferring funds from alertpay to entropay but I am sure it is quite possible since entropay does accept payments through virtual card however I am not sure if you can transfer those funds back to your sbi account. You may link your bank account directly with your alertpay account and withdraw funds to your sbi account. That should work!

Thanks for quick reply. But it sounds like anomaly. Because alertpay is not accepting even Visa gold debit card of S.B.I.But you are advising me add my Bank a/c directly. How it is possible? Kindly write in detail.Plz.

Good for you Vishwajeet. Alertpay was facing issues with visa and mastercard for accepting payments and I learnt most of it from their blog updates. The virtual card is still a preferred choice with regards to online privacy. I will never risk to link my original debit card with Paypal or Alertpay for online transactions.

Dibakar - Adding debit card to alertpay is different from adding your SBI bank account. They are not the same. Try adding your bank information and see what information Alertpay needs to link your bank account then go to you bank and speak with your account manager or center manager and get the information. Fill out those info to link your bank account. It is pretty simple. What is the confusion here?

@Nishit, I think If we use original debit Card, I don't Think that i have face any problem in future. Now Come to VCC Cards, If PayPal or any other Payment Processors detected that we use VCC Cards & Want to show the cards Documents, Its really a Big problem .

Vishwajeet - Paypal never asks for VCC document verfication. If they can confirm that you have a valid credit card (i.e. vcc card), they don't linger too much about it. Secondly, not every debit card issued by banks in India is accepted by Paypal so if anyone does not wish to get rejected in phaze 1 of verification process, he or she can or should score with a vcc card.

Dibakar - Once you have activated any Indian bank with Alertpay, you can transfer funds to your bank account however it doesn't happen immediately. Probably, you have to wait for 24 to 48 hours to see the funds in your bank account.

Ok! As you told in your earlier comment that you have an credit card, Then Log in your alertpay account & go to verification page & choose Credit Card Validation. If you have an Master Card Then they will make an small deposit to your card, You have to check it & put the exactly amount. If You Have visa or other Cards Then Alertpay Charge an small amount with an code, You Have to check this code in your card statement. This will help you to verify your alertpay account. After when you verify it, You will able to pay that person through your credit card.
