Fitness Tips for Working Women

Balancing work and health is difficult but not impossible. They need not look healthy from outside, but should be fit within. Healthy fod, exercise and healthy mind will help in keeping one fit and happy.

Women over the age of 30 should take their health seriously and ensure they pursue healthy living. It is not uncommon for women to push aside their own needs to make sure other members of their life comfortable. They tend to think of others and give their health least priority.

This is especially true for working women who often have juggle the commitments of a workplace with maintaining a home and keeping her family healthy.

However, it is extremely important to have a balanced and healthy lifestyle and remain fit. Being in shape and eating healthy is extremely important to enjoy life in the long run.

Below mentioned are few tips that can be considered for women that work-

1. Taking Timely Naps: Lack of sleep is one of the main causes of not looking and feeling your best. This can get very serious and can take years off your life. It is important to complete a minimum of 7 hours sleep on daily basis. Keeping mind and body relaxed will help removing all your tiredness and stress. One can feel energetic, full of energy and fresh after getting healthy sleep.

2. Consume Water Regularly: Simple act of drinking water seems to be extremely obvious. However, women at times get so engrossed in work that it completely slips out of their mind. Water helps in removing toxins from the body and protects skin from turning dull and dry. It also helps in quick digestion and keeps the body temparature normal. It is advisable to consume luekwarm water to remain fit and healthy.

3. Moisturize Skin: Constant air conditioning turns skin dry and even make it dull. As working women who travels, chances are that a lot of dust gets settled and that spoils the skin. Applying moisturiser help sin healthy massage of the skin and rejuvenate the cells. Glowing and healthy skin is possible with the help of good quality  moisturiser. Regular massages can also help in achieving beautiful and glowing skin. In the summers, use a sunblock with moisturiser to avoid a tan and skin burns.

4. Taking a Relaxed Bath: A hot and warm bath can relax your body. After the daily hard work , a relaxed bath can rejuvenate your body and senses. One can feel healthy and light after a shower. It helps in sensitising pressure points and eases muscles and joints. One can add some candles, salts and fragrances for soothing effect.

5. Going on Short Walks: Exercise is extremely important at every age. If one runs short of time to visit a gym, short walks can be the best alternate. These walks can be accompanied by your kids, parents, spouse, neighbour or even your pet. Listening to music and walking can also add to the entertainment factor. Since lot of women have a desk job which effects back and neck, walk is essential for healthy body. it is the best way of exercise. If possible divide walks into jog or skip.

6. Eat Healthy: Having a balanced diet is extremely important. One should have short meals rather than a complete 3 course heavy meals. 80% of your diet should include vegetables. Working women can carry small boxes for their lunch and also bring fruits into work. Having a simple and light dinner of soups and salads helps in healthy body. ensure all nutrients reaches body with right proportion. Women at age of 30 and more should particularly concentrate on rich iron and protien diet. There are lot sof substitutes to fattening and high cholestrol diet. One can try them. Consuming food at raw stage or little cooked can accelarate health.

7. Avoid Health Delays: In case of any injury or sickness, treatment should not be avoided or delayed. Visiting a doctor and following prescriptions is extremely crucial to feel good and better. In case of a continous health issue one can also try visiting a naturopathic doctor for an ayurvedic treatment. Delaying such instances can lead to future difficulties.

Getting regular health check-ups should be practised religiously. Working women should work at home to keep their bodies physically active.
