Fact of Mount Safa in Al-Haram

Mount Safa is located inside the Al-Haram where pilgrims perform the compulsory rite of pilgrimage know as Sa’y to recall the act of Hazrat Hajrah (AS). Allah (ﷻ) mentions of the Safa and Marwah hills in the Quran in Surah Baqarah: “Verily Safa and Marwah are among the breakthroughs of Allah.” [2:158]

In fact, Hajrah (AS) ran towards Safa hills then Marwah to search the water for her poor child Ismael (AS) when he was crying the extreme thirst in the deserted valley of Makkah. She ran seven times to find out the water but could not find a sign of water. Eventually, Allah (SWT) miraculously grated the water at the place of Ismael (AS) which we called them Zamzam water. Thus, Allah (SWT) so much liked the act of Hajrah (AS) that her action of seven times running towards Safa and Marwah hills fixed the compulsory ritual for pilgrims who through cheapest Umrah Packages 2020 in order to perform Hajj or Umrah.

Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) stated that the Prophet (ﷺ) climbed up Mount Safa when Allah (ﷻ) revealed the verse in Surah Shu’ara: “And warn your tribe (O Muhammad) of near associated.” [26:214]

After ascending the Safa mountain he loudly spoke “Ya Sabahah!” and meanwhile several people of Makkah had gathered around then Prophet ﷺ said, “If I told you that riders are moving forward to attack you from the valley on the other side of this mountain, will you believe me?”. “Yes”, they replied in one voice, “We have always found you truthful.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “I am a plain warner to you of coming severe punishment.” After this intense resemblance, the Prophet (ﷺ) asked them to save themselves by affirming that Allah is one and only and he Muhammad ﷺ, is his messenger. He tried to make them understand that if they gripped to pantheism and rejected the message he had brought to them, they would ready to destroy. Abu Lahab (his uncle) said, “May you perish! Did you call us only for this reason? “Then Abu Lahab went away saying cursed. And in return ‘Surah al-Lahab’ (Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!) was revealed

After the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet (ﷺ) went towards the Hajar al-Aswad and then performed Tawaf. After completing the Tawaf, the Prophet (ﷺ) ascended Mount Safa, by facing directly towards the Holy Kaabah towards the Kaabah and prayed a lot. It positioned from here that he ﷺ proclaimed, Those who shelter in the Ka’ba are safe and those who shelter in the house of Abu Sufyan are safe, and those who remain confined to their houses are also safe. Today pilgrims also feel safe and sound in the Holy Kaabah whenever they avail the cheap Umrah Visa through the Authorized Agents to proceed major or minor pilgrimage.

Dare-Arqam was also based at the foot of Mount Safa. Darul Arqam was the area where the educations of Islam were carried behind closed doors from Prophet ﷺ. The house belonged to a Sahabi named Arqam (RA) which he dedicated to gather some first believers to preach Islam after the affirmation of Prophethood. The reason was obviously precise that Pagan Arabs did not even ready to hear the teachings of true faith.
