Express Entry rules will change starting in 2023 in Canada - Aptech Visa

Sharp rise in invitations to PR in the most recent Express Entry draw

  • For the third consecutive draw, the IRCC sent out exactly 500 more invitations than the previous draw.
  • The August 31 draw invited 2,750 participants, whereas the September 14 draw accepted 3,250 candidates.
  • It is also the lowest minimum CRS since all program draws started after Express Entry reopened. Since 557 on July 6, CRS scores have been dropping incrementally.
  • Scores dropped by eight or nine points for each of the first five draws. Only six points were lost in the draw on September 14; the same was true for this week.

Because of an excess of uses welcomed by Coronavirus related travel impediments, all Express Passage program draws were required to be postponed for over a year and a half starting in December 2020. Just candidates from the CEC or Common Chosen one Program (PNP) got solicitations to apply all through the rest. The IRCC additionally quit holding lotteries for the CEC in September 2021.
