The government too has been taking many initiatives for the benefit of this sector. The sector has a lot of hopes from the upcoming Budget Session. The Finance Ministry is also likely to announce beneficial tax treatment for start-ups for their brand building expenses.

This is also because there are numerous e-commerce companies sprouting up these days. Branding helps a company keep ahead and be better than their competition.  The initiative is directed in helping these e-commerce companies build their brand image by incurring appropriate expense towards the exercise. The government has been giving out many initiatives for the start-up and entrepreneurship industry. Micro Units Development Refinance Agency (MUDRA) Bank was launched. This was done with an initial corpus of 20,000 crore which was aimed at enhancing the growth of small businesses by providing them accessible credit facility.

 

The government has also a dedicated Ministry for entrepreneurship and skill development. This portrays that he government is serious about developing people with skills who are able to take forward the entrepreneurial sector.
