Engagement Plans: Choose Her or Leave Her

Years don’t matter, rather the level of understanding and love you have for each other are much important than anything else. Once you feel that “connection” beyond words can explain, then that’s a sign that you two are meant to be united. This “connection” still depends upon the situation, and mustn’t be related with lust. It should be deep, beyond explanation and mutual.

Anyway, have you been in a relationship for too long already but still hasn’t felt the need to settle down? What’s keeping you from not asking for her hand? Are you waiting for the right time? Or is it that even after years of relationship, you’re still unsure if she’s the one?

Right Time

Patience is a virtue. Yes, it’s true that you shouldn’t rush things like marriage. This isn’t a game that once you lost enthusiasm, you can just opt out and try another game. Only matured and serious couple should commit to this. But then again, waiting for the right time is different from doubt. If you can’t see your future with your partner, might as well end the relationship now, and let her find another one.

Let Her Go
It’s never right to stay in a relationship just because you don’t want to inflict pain to another person. Leave what doesn’t make you grow as a person. Pain is inevitable. Do yourself partner a favor and give her the freedom. Pain is temporary. She’ll eventually heal in time. Let her be found by another soul.

But then again, if you are sure 100% deep inside, that she is the girl you want to spend your life with, go ahead and be brave to ask for her hand. If she loves you, more likely, she’ll say ‘yes’. Nothing should stay stagnant. Relationships must never cease to grow. Every milestone must lead you to another level.

Lastly, imagine this: A Tagaytay wedding. A garden filled with all your loved ones, all smiles, while some are crying tears of  joy, as you spend with them your special day. Then, your bride, walking down the aisle, her eyes looking at your way. Isn’t it wonderful?

If you can’t picture out this on your mind, might as well end your relationship now. Save yourself and your partner from future damage.
