It’s official - PAGASA just declared the start of summer! Are you ready to get wet and wild, and bask in summer’s heat as you do something beyond your limits? It’s the best time of the year to awaken the inner kid in you, de-stress and detoxify from daily stress and reconnect relationships!

If you’re up for the challenge, then you might as well include the following activities on your summer bucket list:

Do’s

  • Book a trip

Take advantage of good weather, and travel around the Philippines! Check with your travel agency now and grab their latest travel deal package. Explore and be mesmerized by our country’s own treasure.

  • Conquer the beach

Summer is incomplete without going to the beach! Choose amongst the resorts in Boracay, Palawan and Batangas, and experience a true relaxing vacation.

  • Re-invent yourself

Take all the time you need to discover and hone a new new skill. Also, try to get fit and fab - join sports clubs or do any physical activities that will make you sweat and earn that hot bod.

  • Tie the knot

June is no longer the wedding month due to weather’s unpredictability. So, if you’re planning to wed, do it on summer - less chances of rain. Boracay tops the list of destination weddings, followed by the white beaches in Puerto Princesa.

Don’ts

  • Stay at home and become a couch potato

Go out of your box and feel the heat of summer. Do something good for yourself and be productive. Set aside your video / online games, and consider flexing your muscles.

  • Binge eating

A lot of town fiestas will take place, which means endless buffet. Eat only what you can burn. It’s not only about looking good physically, but it’s also about maintaining overall health condition.

  • Get Pregnant

“... living young and wild and free” Summer is the best time to be adventurous, but know your limits. You can always start a family; just make sure to tie the knot first, before anything else.

  • Forget to PLAN

Last minute planning may work for the others, but may not work with you. Make planning a habit and spare your much awaited escapade from inconveniences.

Remember that every second is precious, be productive and enjoy it to the fullest! No one’s too old or too young to find reasons to be happy.
