Did You Know Your Android Can Do All This!
Before the arrival of smart-phones, people used their
electronic devices only to communicate with others via call or text feature.
When bored, we used our phones to play classic mobile games such as Snakes and Sudoku.
That was the extent of how cell-phones were used in that time.
Now, people prefer purchasing a phone that offers better, newer and more features as compared to the last model! When we say smart-phones, the operating systems, Android and the iOS, come to mind, with Android smart-phone taking the lead in popularity as well as in usage over its counterpart.
Yet, Android users still don’t know the full extent of their smart-phone when it comes to usability and features. Here’s what your Android smart-phone can do;
Send Your Ex Straight to Voicemail!
This is something everyone has in common. We all know some people (or even one) who we’d rather not talk to. So, how to make sure we don’t? Instead of manually screening each and every call, your Android smart-phone can do this dirty work for you. All you’ll have to do is; load up the contact, select Edit and then Additional Info. The option “Send straight to voicemail” will appear. Select it, sit back and enjoy the thought of that person’s call bypassing completely from your ringer.
Map it Out
Traveling somewhere without cell service can become a pain but not if you’ve your trusty Android phone with you! In most phones (Apple), users are unable to use Google Maps to guide themselves without cell service but Android has made our life easier. Pull up the area’s map (where you aren’t going to receive cell service) on your device before heading out. Type Ok Maps into the page’s search window. That particular portion of the map will be made available to you even where cell and Wi-Fi service is absent!
Add Words to Your Dictionary
This may not seem like a cool feature; but hold up! Adding words automatically as you type to your phone’s dictionary will certainly help when it comes to texting. It’s just plain annoying when you’re trying to type dear old Aunt “Mearle”; and your auto-correct kicks in with ‘meatless’ each time. Good news for people who prefer texting over phone calls as with this feature, you can teach your phone to add new (and most often used) words to the personal dictionary. This will save the hassle of typing in the entire word as the phone will suggest choice words on its own after a few letters. It’s like a phone app that completes your sentences for you.
Despite some very obvious benefits the Android has over iOS, America has a lot of Apple users too. One thing both have in common though is the cell phone repair rockland county, i.e. Rockland County Computer Repair. The service provider also offers TV and computer repair as well.
