CR Extends Run of Ganpati Special Trains & Others; Get Details Here

Central Railways (CR) will run Additional Ganpati Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Mangaluru Junction to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival 2022. CR has already announced running of 198 Ganpati Specials and with this the total number of Ganpati Specials this year will be 206. The details are as under:-

  • 01165 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.45 hrs  on every Tuesday from August 16 to September 6 (4 services) and will arrive Mangaluru Junction at 19.30 hrs same day.
  • 01166 special will leave Mangaluru Junction at 22.20 hrs on every Tuesday from August 16 to September 6 (4 services) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 18.30 hrs next day.

Halts: ThanePanvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri,  Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Cancona, Karwar, Ankola , Gokarna Road, Kumta, Honnavar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Thokur

Composition: One First AC, Three AC-2 Tier, 15 AC-3 Tier, Two Generator vans, One Pantry car.

Reservation: Bookings for the special trains no. 01165 on special charges will open from July 18 at all computerised reservations centres and on the website.

Further, Railways will extend the run of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Guwahati Bi-weekly Express to and from Dibrugarh.  The details are as under:

  • 15645 Guwahati Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on and from July 23 (Wed & Sat) will run upto Dibrugarh. It will depart Guwahati at 09.10 hrs and will arrive Dibrugarh at 21.00 hrs.
  • 15646 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will leave from Dibrugarh at 05.00 hrs on and from July 20 (Sun & Wed) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus 17.50 hrs as at present.

It will halt at Hojai, Lumding, Diphu, Dimapur, Furkating, Mariani, Simaluguri, New Tinsukia stations between Guwahati and Dibrugarh.

Moreover, Railways will restore the run of 12811 LTT-Hatia Bi-weekly Express with effect from July 17.

The run of following trains have already been restored :

  • 12879 / 12880 LTT-Bhubaneshwar-LTT Bi-weekly Express
  • 22865 / 22866 LTT-Puri-LTT Weekly Express
  • 12812 Hatia-LTT Bi-weekly Express

Railways will restore the services of Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi Express and Ajni- Amravati Express as per details given below:

1) Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi Express.

  • 12025 Express will leave Pune at 06.00 hrs Except Tuesday with effect from August 10 and will arrive Secunderabad at 14.20 hrs on same day.
  • 12026 Express will leave Secunderabad at 14.45 hrs Except Tuesday with effect from August 10 and will arrive Pune at 23.10 hrs same day

Halts: Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Tandur, Vikarabad, Begumpet.

Composition: One Vistadome Coach, Two Executive Chair car, 9 AC Chair Car.

2) Ajni- Amravati Express

  • 12120 Express will leave Ajni at 18.30 hrs Except Saturday with effect from July 20 and will arrive Amravati  at 21.50 hrs same day
  • 12119 Express will leave Amravati at 05.30 hrs Except Sunday with effect from July 21 and will arrive Ajni at 08.15 hrs on same day

Halts- ,Wardha ,Pulgaon ,Dhamangaon ,Chandur

Composition: 3 second class seating, 9 General Second Class including 2 Guard's brake van.

Reservation: Bookings for train No.12025 will open on July 19 and for Train No 12119/12120 on July 17 at all computerised reservation centres and on the website.
