Nails and feet grooming for dogs is one of the less tasking aspects of dog grooming but also one that could be easily over looked. Because dog nails curve as it grows, if it is not regularly trimmed it could grow to the point when it will become discomforting for the dog as he walks which may cause the toes to twist.

Nail clippers is about all that is needed for trimming the dog’s nail but care has to be taken to ensure that you do not cut into the veins. However to be on the safe side in case you accidentally cut into the quick (sensitive vein in the dog’s nail), ensure that you have styptic powder ready to staunch the bleeding that may result .You can trim the fur on the dog’s feet with a scissors so as to keep dirt from sticking to the feet.
