All the deals and discounts abound all from late November to December which is celebrated for providing the most amazing and fantastic savings of the whole seasons. When Did the Black Friday Start?

The Black Friday dates back to the early 1950s when some of the retail stores would start the shopping of the upcoming Christmas season by offering big sales to their customers. Indeed’ all the annual store profits would often tips into “the black,” as the black signifies that profits and the red ink will signify loss which in accounting term for losing money, whenever the receipts were tallied by the shopkeepers.

When Did Cyber Monday Start?

It’s very surprising, but Cyber Monday dates back to just 2005. Before then, back it was very much normal to order anything and everything online, but the shoppers always need encouragement. Some online stores are started running their big sales to compete with the day which is called Black Friday.

The Cyber Monday name start with Cyber, it’s because, in the earlier days, the internet was regularly referred to as the “cyberspace.”

Why is Cyber Monday on Monday not any other day of the week? It’s because it turns out all the people like to shop when they are in office and easily use the high-speed connections. However, in the earlier days of online shopping, Monday proved it to be a profitable day for all the online stores. So they all are holding it.

So the difference between both is that the Black Friday was born on retail and the Cyber Monday was the online world’s answer. So, it means that at the beginning period, you would need to go to the stores on Friday. Then look for Cyberspace on Monday.
