Beach or Books: Seeking how you spend your holidays

Summer is over, but there are a lot of holidays still waiting in line. How are you going to spend your time during those days? Would you rather stay at home, read books, watch your favorite series, or check the latest vacation promo offered by travel agencies? We all have different definitions of relaxation, or it can be that our choices depend on our mood.

According to an article in Apartment Therapy, most choose to stay at home due to factors like lack of budget. While others find comfort breathing fresh air outside the comfort of their homes like in beaches and anywhere with nature setting.

Outdoor

How much do you love sands and beach? How many times have you been to Boracay beach? Considering all the activities offered in the Island of Boracay, there’s no way you can resist the urge to be in this place. It’s not enough that you see pictures of it, like how captivating the sunset is, or how pure the sands really are.

Outdoor individuals are passionate traveler, always on the quest to be in different places and try new things, regardless of how risky it is as long as it will give them the pleasure of excitement and satisfaction.

Indoors

How about sleeping on a bed made of books? If you have tons of book collections, then needless to say that you find solitude in reading. Individuals who prefer to stay indoors have the wildest imaginations. Reading books alone satisfies their desire to be in different places. Their imagination works a lot better than their physical being.  It’s not laziness that holds them back from stepping outside and trying outdoor activities, its just that they find boundless comfort in reading books.

Books may not make you shed excess weight nor develop your social skills, but it can surely widen your knowledge and make you see the world in different perspectives.

Whether you choose book over beach, or vice versa, as long as you’re doing something worthy of your time, then it’s more than fine. But it’s much better if you can do both, read and travel. The places that you read in books must inspire you to visit that place and feel the experience first hand.
