Barca will Miss Xavi

Xavi no doubt one of the best mid-fielders the world has ever seen, with Three Champions Leagues, 8 La Liga Titles, Three Copa del Reys, Two UEFA Super Cups, Six Spanish Supercups and two FIFA Club World Cups. Altogether 24 titles with Barca and apart from that a Holy World Cup with Spain.

Although his Barce career has come to end but he will always be remembered in the books of glorious players the world has ever seen. He has been voted into top three Ballon d’Or nominations on three occasions. This year’s Champions League final will be his last game for the mighty Barcelona, his 17 year stint with Calalonians has to an end.

According to Xavi he has arranged replacement of himself in the team, according to him Sergio Busquets in the best option available to replace him.

"I've got a soft spot for Busquets in every respect," he said. "He's a close friend and I think he's the player with the best understanding of football, both in attack and in defense, in the world.

"His game intellect on the pitch is a miracle. And off it, I don't know anyone else whom I have the same affinity with. I think he's my natural extra in the dressing room and on the pitch.

"He's ordained to be the leader for Barcelona for the next era, without a shadow of a doubt."

But World knows that there is no replacement of this legend, the Legend who has served the club in more than 500 matches, knows strengths and weaknesses of the club. He dedicates his success to his mother, because it was his mother who forced to him to play for Barcelona instead of moving when it was hard time for him.

He can win treble this year, they have already secured La Liga and Copa del Rey but Juventus in the biggest hurdle, they have to pass through J Turin to make this treble this year.

This season has been surprisingly fruitful, with the media and numerous supporters referring to an adjustment in administrator, and accordingly style, as a contributing element.

"My clarification isn't about the change of coach. Luis Enrique wants to play in the same style that Barcelona has been using forever. That's his idea. To control games. Nothing has changed. What has changed?

"I think it's about the three players up front. Before, we had players who were leading in games. They didn't lose the ball. Maybe they didn’t owe when it came to taking players on.

"Maybe we only had one player like Messi who took players on. Now we have three. We have Neymar and Suarez as well as Messi. When the ball goes forward, it's an attack almost straight away.

"There isn't as much power of the game because we're on the attack. When the ball gets to Neymar, Suarez or Messi, we have players that can create beginnings with their individual brilliance. We used to need four or five changes in direction, maybe 20 or 30 passes.

"Now the ball reaches Neymar, Suarez or Messi after two passes and it's an attack, I think that's the difference. I don't think it's about the coach. The coach wanted us to play in the same way. It's about the three up front."

In past Messi used to learn from Xavi, but now Xavi described Messi as a Phenomenon and unstopabble.

"What Leo has been doing is amazing," Xavi continues. "He's even the best at defending. When he puts pressure on the full-backs, he wins the ball back. He's the best at everything, no matter what he does.

"Having Messi in the team means you always have to look for him. There's no other clarification. When you see Messi ahead of you and there's another pass open, the ball still has to go to Leo. You know that it will be an attack and he'll cause risk.

"The adversaries expect it. For me, he's the best player in history, without any doubt. He's shown over the last eight or 10 years that he's the best player in the world. He's had some ups and downs, such as last year, but that's normal. He is human."

Xavi tasted success throughout his football career, even he got bundle of trophies and medals and now he’s leaving with tears in his eyes, after a 17 year stint.
