The name of Bajaj
Motors is synonymous to Indian motorcycle Industry. With a vision to establish
itself in the sports bike field, Bajaj is set to launch Pulsar 375 cc by the end of this year. Bajaj Pulsar is set to be a
full blown sports bike and that too a sensational one. Since the brand Pulsar
has always been associated with powerful and stylish bikes, Pulsar 375 is set
to take its signature style to the next level. This bike lies in the hierarchy
of Pulsar 200 NS. Hence most of the feature of Pulsar 375 will be derived from
Pulsar 200, though some of them might be too evolved to be distinguishable.
In case of Bajaj Pulsar 375 cc, body panels will
be added to the side panels to accentuate the overall look of this bike as a
sports bike. Features like these are set to differentiate Pulsar 375 entirely
from pulsar 200 NS. Currently Pulsar 375 is in its final stage of manufacturing
and will be available soon in the Indian marketplace for sale. The estimated
price of Pulsar 375 is anticipated to be affordable in line with the price
range of sports bike in Indian market. Since the official disclosure regarding
the technical details of the bike has not been done yet, hence it is
anticipated that the bike is going to be similar to Pulsar 200 in internal
machinery only. The external looks of the bike are set to be totally
unprecedented. Along with this model, it is expected that Bajaj is going to
launch triple spark plug technology to boost the performance.
As far as the
speculations go, the bike is set to be powered by a Bajaj Pulsar 375 cc engine having single - cylinder. The
prospective power production of the bike is 40 bhp. Along with this, the peak
torque value being generated is about 30 Nm. All these features are set to give
a maximum speed of about 160kmph. The cutting-edge design of headlamps and
eyelash is assured head-turner. The design for speedometer is inherited from
Pulsar 200 NS whereas the turn indicators greatly resemble the design of KTM
Duke. The front forks having a telescopic cut together with the rear design are
again derived from 200NS. The scintillating alloy wheels coupled with a loftier
rubber grip are yet again taken from the design of 200 NS. The estimated size
of front wheel is 120/80 * 17. All these features are set to provide an
impressive look to 375 cc.
The merger between
Bajaj and Australian bike giant KTM is recent news. KTM has recently launched
Duke whose features were much talked about around the world. But in comparison
to Duke, Bajaj Pulsar 375 cc is all
set to light the streets ablaze with its charismatic appeal and performance.
Being a full faired sport bike, 375 cc is designed keeping in mind the high
standards set to rank a sports bike, mainly in the field of speed and pick up.
With the dedicated R&D department of Bajaj automobiles, Pulsar 375 is
destined to make waves in motorcycle market worldwide.
