All you Need to Know About G1 Practice Test

G1 Knowledge Test aka G1 Written Test is the one needed to be a qualified driver in Ontario, Canada. The official test is created by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and thence is offered in all Drive-Test Centers. The test is available on computers in some locations but is available on paper all across Ontario. If you want to take the test, then you need to make sure that you reach the center an hour before it’s closing and you need not to take any appointments.

The criteria of test are multiple choice questions and there are 40 questions in each test. Also, there is no time limit. The candidates receive two sets of question paper with 20 questions in each paper. The first paper is about road signs, while the second one consists of rules of the roads. In order to pass the test, the candidates have to get 16 questions correct in each paper. The G1 Practice Test is known for its there and then marking and the candidates are handed with their results forthwith. The results for the G1 Practice Test are valid for a year.

The G2 Drive Test

 

A Graduated Driver’s License (GDL) program is adopted by Ontario that becomes valid when you are 16 years or above and the time duration of completing this test is 2 years. Apart from the written test there is an eye exam that is to be taken and you have to pay $158.25 as the testing package fee that covers the written exam, eventual G2 test and your physical license. Once you are handed your G1 driver’s license, you are eligible to drive under a licensed driver’s supervision. It is important to hold onto your G1 license for a year, or least of 8 months if you are in a driver’s training program before you can take a road test for your G2 license. If, by any chance you fail your written test, then you’ll have to pay $15.75 to retake the test.
