Air Arabia Announces Another Destination In Russia
In recent times, Air Arabia has substantially increased its number of destinations in the region of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Russian Federation. The Middle East has been eyeing this region as one with great potential and the continual demand for cost effective and reliable transportation has prompted the airline to include more and more destinations in the region in its continually growing list.
If an airline’s success is determined by its growth, Air Arabia is definitely among the top runners for the first position. The airline has always looked forward to a great growth pattern, a yearning that is very well complimented with the new destinations that are continually added to the existing list that makes the airline the largest Low Cost Carrier (LCC) in the North African and Middle Eastern regions. The airline also has quite an expansive network in many cities of the Asian continent as well as Europe.
Continuing its commitment towards the region of the CIS and the Russian Federation, Air Arabia has now announced that it will commence flights to the city of Kazan in Russia. This new flight route will make Kazan the fourth destination of the airline in Russia. The other cities in the Russian Federation that the airline flies to are Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Ufa. The announcement of Kazan as a destination means that Air Arabia now flies to 78 destinations across the globe. The rate at which the airline has undertaken it’s route expansion, there is quite a strong chance that Air Arabia will soon touch the hundred destination mark.
The services to Kazan are scheduled to be twice weekly with flights being operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The return flights are to leave the same day from the Kazan International Airport to the Sharjah International Airport. The flight time is expected to be around five hours and is set to change the way the two cities connect with each other. Many businesses in the Middle East have begun to eye the Russian region as partners in business as well as work opportunities and increased logistics will only help in strengthening the partnership. The new services are set to increase the number of Air Arabia operations to the region and the flights to the region now stand at 30 per week. A year ago, the Board of Air Arabia had decided to increase operations to the region and the current standing of destinations is witness to the work that has been done in this direction.
The airline was also the first Middle Eastern airline to fly into Odessa in the Ukraine, yet again proving that Air Arabia never holds back from even pushing its own boundaries when it comes to growth opportunities.
