AAP fears Captain Amarinder Singh
With Punjab headed into polls next year, political undercurrents are high in the state. Everyone is eyeing to score over their counterparts, but the Aam Admi Party (AAP) seems to have gone a bit too far.
AAP leaders have been indulging in aimless political commentary, which stems from an underlying fear of Captain. Amarinder Singh’s stature in Punjab, believes the Congress. The party has said that the AAP is obsessively scared” of the Punjab State President which is making them uncomfortably anxious.
Speaking at a public gathering, Congressmen Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rana Gurjeet Singh and Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria said that AAP is resorting to just about anything to malign Captain Singh.
They also made claims that everyone in AAP was busy trying to negate Captain Singh. From minions like Durgesh Pathak to veterans like like Sukhpal Khaira and Sucha Singh Chhotepur, AAP seems to be clouded by that thought.
“The way AAP leaders are trying to malign Amarinder, they seem to be suffering from a congenital phobia of him which they are finding very difficult to come out of,” the Congress leaders said.
The Congress also views AAP with no credentials to show for as a political establishment. “The mess which they have created by literally turning the whole of Delhi into filth and garbage is reflective of their inefficiency,” said the three Congress leaders.
Moreover, see AAP is seen as thriving on fake publicity. “While the garbage dumps kept piling up in Delhi, the AAP government has been busy buying publicity for itself at a whopping expenditure of Rs 520 crore,” said the Congress, asking the AAP leadership “not to befool the people of Punjab.
AAP meanwhile is keeping low after this verbal assault by the Congress.
