A list of few of the music festivals in India are:

• World Sufi Spirit Festival- This is organized in Jodhpur and Nagpur. Artists from mystic traditions like Sufism, Theyyam and Bheth take part.

• Kasauli Rhythms and Blues Festival- This is organized in Kasauli. This festival is headlined by established R&B artists.

• The Big Gig- This is organized in Mussoorie. It features Indian acts, including performances from school and college bands.

• Escape Festival- This is organized in Nubra valley. This is one of the first festivals which allow on-site camping.

• Rajasthan International Folk Festival- This is organized at Jodhpur. This festival showcases the best folk singers from Rajasthan.

• Sunburn Festival- This is organized in Goa. With a large line-up of electronic music, this festival is one of India’s most successful music festivals.

• Freedom Jam- It is planned in Bengaluru every year. For this fest, the artist do not charge any sort of fee as it is organized for them and by them to enjoy and celebrate.  

• Madras Music Session- This is organized in Chennai where big and small Carnatic music singers come together and perform. The day time events are free whereas the ones in the evening are ticketed as renowned artists come and perform.

• Banganga Festival- It is a two-day music festival organized by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Heritage Society to protect the heritage of the country. It is annually held in the month of January in Malabar Hills.

• Kala Ghoda Festival- One of the most eminent cultural fests in Mumbai, it is organized by the Kala Ghoda Association. This fest celebrates varied forms of art forms including music, dance, theatre etc. and has seminars and workshops related to arts.
