4 Tips to Writing the Perfect Answers in Board Examination

by Rahul Sharma Writer
Writing an answer in the board exam is a little different from writing them in a normal one. As the whole impression is required to be created on someone who you know nothing of, you need your answers to be at their best. But many students often wander-off from the subject and end up writing answers that are anything but precise. This might be a result of lack of time, which again results from avoiding the basic guideline which we are going to talk about. So let us have a look at 4 basic rule of thumbs, that will help you score and see some good numbers in your final Rajasthan 8th board result 2019.

Read Question Paper Well
A period of 15 minutes is provided prior to the commencement of every exam paper. This period, as your exam paper would also note, is given to students so they could go through question paper. And it is strongly advised that you do the same. WIthin the span, you must make a note:
How many sections your question paper has?
Number of questions
Marking scheme
Questions you could solve in a go
Questions that are will take longer than the usuals

Have an Answering Sequence in Mind
By the time you are through with the first look at your question paper, you should be having a sequence in which you will attempt the questions. It is important to decide this order in the very beginning, as much time is lost if you have to ask yourself “What questions should I attempt next?”, after answering each question. With a road map in mind, the transition from one question to another would not only be swift but would also save you a lot of time.

Have a brief in Mind Before You Write Your Answers
It is important to hold your horses before you start writing any of the answers. Why? Because to answer in the most concise and informational manner, you have to have the full layout of what you aim to write as an answer. This would help you in two ways. First, it helps you in avoiding the writer's block that you might suffer if you run out of ideas while writing your answer. And second, with a plan of what you wish to write in advance, your writing speed will not suffer, saving you a lot of time.

Don’t Use Too Many Pens
Many examiners note that they have seen many copies that make use of multi-colored pens. Some go further and spend a good amount of time in decorating their headings and important paragraphs by underlining them. It’s not a bad practice in particular and even helps you make a good impression upon the examiner. But try and avoid it till you have attempted all the questions, and double-checked your entire answer sheet for any possible error. Only after you have done the above two, you should pull out your highlighters or markers to give that extra edge to your answer sheet.
