4 blessed doors on Eastern Side of Masjid e Nabvi

Masjid e Nabvi has great importance in the Muslim world. It is the second one which is richly visited by tourists. Muslims visit the Mosque to recall the dwellings of those who devoted their lives for the good survival of Islam. 1.    Bab e Baqi 

Bab e Baqi is the door that is located at the exact opposite side of Bab e Salam door. It was fixed in the year of 1408 A.D. People after greeting Rawdah Rasool ﷺ enter into this door to visit the graves of those personalities who are buried in Jannat ul Baqi. 

2.    Funeral Place 

This door is situated next to Bab e Jibrael. In fact, the spot was fixed for funeral because the Prophet ﷺ once offered Salat ul Janaza. Later on, it became the traditional place for offering Salat ul Janaza. When someone was near to death and informed to Prophet ﷺ, so the Messenger of Allah-Almighty prayed for him a long time. Also, Prophet ﷺ stayed at that place until the funeral completed. Today, this spot is used to keep stuff needed in the Prophet’s ﷺ Mosque. 

3.     Babe Jibrael 

Babe Jibrael which is also known as the Door of Jibrael was fixed for the entrance of Jibrael (AS) to deliver the message to Prophet ﷺ. As mentioned in an authentic hadith Ayesha (RA) said “After the battle of Ahzaab, the Prophet ﷺ detached arms and took a bath. Meanwhile, Jibrael (AS) came riding a horse and joined the Prophet ﷺ very near the doorstep of Bab-e-Jibrael. Jibrael (AS) said to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that he had put away his weapons but they (the angels) are still in battle dresses. So you should follow us to attack the tribe of Banu Quraizah’. Moreover, she added, “I perceived Jibrael (AS) by hearing the cracks in the door of my hut.

4.    Bab un Nisa 

Bab un Nisa was fixed for women by Umar (RA) when there was dire need to extend the Masjid Nabvi. And with the help of this door females, devotees could enter in Masjid without any hesitation. The big advantage of this door was that there was no chance to mix women with men. Yet, the best time to visit all the spots of Masjid e Nabvi and Al-Haram is the winter season due to cool climate.
