Uh-oh! It's Doomsday...again
Yes once again we are being told the world is going to end. Supposedly tomorrow is it. It seems that we are going to experience a major global earthquake sometime before 6pm Eastern time. At least according to Harold Camping, head of Family Radio Christian Network.
Okay I consider myself a believer. Is it just me or does it seem like Christianity has an "end of the World" fetish or what? Why does it seem a lot of Christians instead of informing people of the message of love and tolerance Christ brought to us to gain followers, feel the need to us fear mongering in an attempt to frighten people into joining their congregations? No wonder we are getting hit with the message that there is a terrorist hiding under every rock, every time you turn around another 'Christian' sect has forgotten all about the "Christ" part of their message and told us that God is going to destroy us all.
Oh well while these particular Christians cower in fear of the coming Earthquake, I'll crank up the volume and caterwaul along to a little R.E.M :

Yep and the sad part is that there will still be idiots who do not pick up the bible between now and then to learn the truth, the preacher knows jack about when it will happen.

Enjoy the holiday Jean and I can't feel much pity for them. All these so called Christians need to do is READ their bibles instead of using it for a dust collector. Jesus very clearly states that even he does not know when it will happen.
Now maybe it's just me but I think that God would tell his son before he'd tell some two-bit preacher.

You gotta feel sorry for the followers who sold their houses and spent the money warning others of the end of the world......or do you? Maybe they should have used their common sense.
Glad we all didn't rapture, because I'm off to Europe in 3 days for a holiday. :-)

I think that guy should be jailed for creating panic. NO one BUT GOD that says in the bible will know when judgement day comes. All this stuff creates panic to people and some don't know how to handle it. For the news media to promote it is even worse. The beds will be full at the nut houses. Like gee wizzzes people use your brains.

These doomsday clowns will never learn - or is it that they refuse to learn? I maybe wrong, but I think it's only God who knows when the world will end. No one else!! However, I can bet you my last dollar that there will still be more doomsday "predictions" in future.

Well, it's May 21st 0930 am in Melbourne Australia, and so far, it's a beautiful Autumn morning, with the sun shining, birds singing, my cat purring at my side.
Looking forward to what these people have to say tomorrow, although they did say that May 21st was going to be followed by 5 months of terror.......... lol

@BelinhaWhen i said our problems are based on greed, I didn't mean the family struggling to make ends meet or those just trying to comfortably exist. Most of us are dealing with everyday problems caused by Corporations who want more and bigger profits Politicians who want to establish their political regime as the right one etc. That is the greed I'm talking about because all of us have to live with their actions.
