I don't feel like going on vacation...
The clock is ticking....And there is still so much to do before I leave for my 1 week vacation; both online stuff as domestic chores like laundry, some ironing and packing suitcases. At this moment I don't feel like going at all. I know I will enjoy it once on my destination. Still I am glad it is only 1 week.
I can't wait to carry on with several projects. I am involved in exiting projects with several partners. There are also some issues that worry me a bit, one of those is my long 'to-do' list.
It is like this prior to every vacation. But I know i will enjoy it once there. My vacations are completely computer and internet free. Luckily when on vacation I am able to turn the switch and forget about my work and really enjoy my vacation.
Our destination is always Turkey. My husband is retired now and we will move there as soon as we sold our home in Holland. Of course when living there I will spend my time different as during vacations. I will continue online business, only difference will be spending a little less time on it than now and working on a sunny terrace or balcony.
When we will live in Turkey we will go in vacation to the Netherlands in summer and during holidays like Christmas. We have a transportable home to live in on a camping nearby our village where we and our kids and grand kids live now.

Paula, a vacation is good and much needed; This is where you get recharged and energized to come back and work even harder. Your brain will be refreshed with new ideas that will take your business to a higher level so take the breaks off and ENJOY!

I know what you mean! Working online sometimes means its hard to turn off the desire to work. But you deserve a vacation - enjoy yourself!

We go about 3 times a year, 7-10 days to Turkey. We often have music gags in the weekend.

Just plain honesty
There is a huge misconception that vacations have to be taken in big bites. My health and the work I did prevented me from taking a 'vacation' in over 40 years. This might sound dreadful but I took my vacations a day at a time - or even twelve hours at a time. When I look at the stress involved in long vacations (and the number of marriages that are undermined by them) and the added concern over what is happening while you are away, you can keep them. Rather, give me the occasional fiesta, natio

Now you sound like me when I was still working for the Police department. I would tell tham that I came back to work to get 'a vacation from my vacation'!

I will, once I am on my destination I will be able to turn the switch and enjoy it. It is like this every time. The worst thing of vacation is having to play catch up for at least two weeks.

Paula Take a break! lol! The work will be there when you get back and you'll be refreshed and ready to tackle it. Just take some time to relax and forget that APSense and Kooiii exist for a few days.
