What I think about the Muslim religion
I and my husband often travel to Turkey where most of the people are Muslims. I think it is such a shame that in the news they only write negative things. There are similarities in the Bible and in the Koran. There are similar people and similar holy places that are mentioned both in the Bible and the KoranWe have the 10 commandments ( I mean the one Moses got on the mountain) but in the Muslim religion there are very good things too like the obligation to share some of your wealth with the poor and less fortunate.
Sure there are visions I do not understand and vice versa but that is no reason to not be friends. All that is needed is respect and tolerance. Some of my best friends are Muslim.

Red Blood.
Everyone have it.
We are all people. Be it Christian, Hindu, Muslim, etc. We need to start acting that way.
We ALL have our own little place under the sun

Paula I back you 1000% percent on this. There is too much intolerance going on in the world. Too much of the you're with us or against us mentality. It takes people deciding to deal with people as people and not what your religion or your government says that they are.

Dear Paula
But have you been to countries like Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Muslim dominated parts of India like Kashmir?

As far as I am familiar with other religions they all teach love and be good for others. That is what important. Regardless if they do so in the name of Jesus Christ, Allah, Buddha or others.

Agree, what is the point of sharing experience if they have to be from the same mindset?

I have transferred this articles from group "Share a God experience" I no longer want to member of because it was states somewhere that only Christians were welcome which I consider intolerant and tunnel vision.

Nicely put! We are all different, in many ways. We all also have a lot to give each other. Sharing and caring is the best way to get along!
