Link your Keyword for targeted visitors
Even before I knew that there are well known internet crooks behind it, i figured out that it simply can not work on long term.
The reason is simple.
There were very few rules. I could buy a keyword "dogfood" and link a site to it that sells furniture.
It is the common users that make the success of any search engine. When Kooday launched for the public and people got irrelevant search results so they retuned to old trusted Google or another one that produces relevant results.
Apart from that, the prices of purchasing a keyword was artificially driven up by the owners of the keywords. This is simply not workable. Companies do not want to have check daily if they still own their keyword or have to purchase the same keyword over and over again.
There are similar programs were people are making money, some even a lot. But what will happen if these programs crash like happened to Kooday? When it becomes general knowledge they are a scam? Would you join another program from the person who recommended this program to you?
I am the owner of a site where you can buy a keyword an link your site or program to it for 1 year or 3 years (top spot). Nobody can take the keyword away from you by placing a higher bid. You can ad a description and an image to it.
It has nothing to do with a search engine.
It has nothing to do with a search engine.
My site is called "Link your keyword", The site is not only visited by online marketeers but also by the general public and is therefore ideal for promoting a niche product or service. We have also 2 special pages: A TE Special where you can promote your TE or promote te-related services and a Tools and E-book special.
When people hover your keyword they see the image and the description. All keyword purchases are manually reviewed by me. Keywords that are reserved and don't match the content are refused.
So go ahead and Link your keyword today and get targeted visitors.

yes your service is nothing like kooday or kulesearch and searchwoo it's a system very much like a pixelscript but uses varying sizes and colors of words, Joel Comm recently released a similar script (see 500words.com ).

What i meant was my service "Link your keyword" which is not a search engine but an altenative way of advertising. Maybe it is better 1 create a revpage for it

@Paula the alternative is simple. A search engine that works. Not one that brings back an irrelevant, unwanted, useless biz-op listing. Kind of like Google, Dogpile, Bing, Ask, oh yeah and Kooiii!
If the search engine does not bring back results that the SEARCHER can us it's worthless.
@Kevin Live huh? I guess by your definition APSense is a dead site? After all it's available to the general internet public-just like Kooday.

lee i don't know where you learned programming but quite a lot of scripts come in both asp and php versions and by using tomcat you can run asp on a linux server same as by running xxamp you can run php on a windows server there is actually little difference in performance the only reason big business use windows servers over linux servers is because it can be hooked into a company intranet easier as most companies run windows on their intranet.
Your very good at finding excuses but not very go

I like this discussion however I see very few comments about the topic "An alternative..." I would like to have some feedback about that too.

Yes i can see that they are similiar except one massive detail! Woo is written in Php and kooday is written in Asp. As you know Asp is much harder to program in than Php and needs its own com and server to funtion properly and that is why Big business use it. Php can be run for free on any linux box and is widely available. Show me where kooday puchased their Asp script and I will acknowledge there may be some truth to your claim. Deal?

@Phillippe:
You can read all about Kooday's Instant Page Ranker at the Kooday blog here. It seems to be working quite nicely and is an excellent tool for advertisers to quickly link their sites to multiple keywords.

Dave, check back with Kooday when the site is actually live. I would also encourage you to attend a conference call with one of the owners on Monday. Mark has been very transparent with the progress of Kooday. Not sure where you're getting that Kood

Kevin the fact strill remain the business model kooday is working with is based on pure speculation and hype if owning keywords was worthwhile you can be sure google would have instigated it years ago however by selling ownership of a keyword and allowing members to connect that keyword to their websites it negates the targetting and relevancy of any search system as you cannot control who owns the keywords or what they link to it therefore your search engine will be rendered useless.
The other

Hi Kevin, instead of trying to convince us without giving us any info, why don't you write a RevPage about that Instant Page Ranker thing you talk about ?
For something so exciting, they don't mention on the Kooday home page. BTW, progress at 99.29 %. Does it mean we will finally see what the fuss is about tomorrow ?

Instant Page Ranker is now out there to test! It's getting exciting, folks! Dave, Kooday has never said they're going to be a Google killer. Far from it. Even a small piece of the search engine market share is huge.

In case anyone is interested I just did another search and the indexing is over 90% complete for Washington DC and still not one relevant result. My complaint has all along been the fact that Kooday is building a 'business', scam or not on a search search engine that does not work and does not deliver usable results to anyone using it for a search.
Your search engine DOES NOT work. That is what I have been saying all along. Perhaps time spent in a 'flame war here would be better spent argu

IT doesn't matter because fixing it now is closing the barn door after the horse is gone. Kooday cut it's own throat when it put out there accessible to the public at large when all it gave back on searches was garbage. I don't know if that was done because of stupidity or greed.
Greed because they wanted to pump up the price on those keywords to get more people to come out of their pockets or stupidity from corporate office with absolutely no business smarts whatsoever. You never put a pr

Who cares where the script comes from. Important is that it works.

It is currently at 86.87 %, time 4h06 PM Eastern Time. The way I saw the progress in the past week, it was more like less than 1 % per day. I could be mistaken. I will check back again tomorrow.
