A Scam by any other name is still A SCAM!
A scam is a scam, it does not matter how much the creators of the scam attempt to make it legitimate. Unfortunately as always there are people who can't see past the free dollar signs in their eyes.
Payboxme is a scam period. Why else would they be trying to look identical to an established legitimate payment processor called Paybox. they have gone so far as using an identical logo with a different color scheme. So they are using a fig leaf to disguise the scam, in this case 'copycatting' a legitimate site.
I wrote a blog on 2.0 about these fig leaves and I see the fig leaf approach still works. Sadly the majority are falling for the fig leaf. Let me tell all of you why that fig leaf is there. To con gullible people into joining this site. And people are joining. Just like with any scam, there are those who see this for what it is. And just like with any scam the marks defend it.
Well the day will come when this one hits somebody's radar. The way it's being promoted hopefully it will be soon. When it hits the radar I can guarantee that you will not be able to find those behind it. You can't find them now.
Try asking yourself a few questions here:
Why is there not an actual corporate site for the scheme?
I have hunted and hunted and not yet found anything except referrals links boasting that you can get $50 free for signing up.
Why is this site so closely tailored to looking like and imitating an existing legitimate site?
Interestingly enough when you search for a corporate site for the scam, you find the legitimate site and they are two different things.
Why is this not endorsed or promoted by the legitimate site?
If you look at the partner programs you see nothing at all about this scam.
Why is the $50 not actual real legal tender?
What exactly can you spend that Monopoly money on, a hotel for Boardwalk because you certainly cannot spend it in the real world. Your paybox dollars are worth zero-nada-nothing-zip. Nothing times fifty equals ZERO so guess what you actually have when they give you that fifty bucks. That's right! Nothing!
I will only say that I sincerely hope the authorities catch this one before too many people get hurt by it.

Sorry but Where are the funds coming from to make good one what is being promised? People are signing up on the implication that they are receiving $50 legal tender-they are not. However that oh so important little tidbit is hidden in the TOS So when you ask where your money is they will refer you back to that to explain why you are the proud possessor of an account containing hundreds or even thousands of dollars that have absolutely NO VALUE.
How many millions must they have in hand to pa

@Rodolfo, I guess when you say PayBox you mean PayBox.me.
APSense doesn't allow members to promote PayBox.me because of copyright issues. Paybox.me copied some info ( logo too ? ) from the legitimate PayBox.com website, which has been around since 2003, I think.
Where do those Paybox dollars come from ? Try to find the answer to that question.

Can all you see this?
People join to safelist or traffic exchange or get some bonus that say: "Get $$$ as bonus on advertising...", then, are they scam?.
On case of PayBox, they give $25 join, $20/day, $10/ref wich balance will spend in digital products or service only.
In fact, Paybox now are looking for companies that offer this kind of products to reward to earlybirds who are active.
I agree that, to compete with giants as Paypal or Aletpay they must take radical strategies & serious step

@computerpro Any intelligent person knows that. It's the gullible, stubborn and greedy that keep getting caught with these scams because they all want easy money for doing nothing

@phmoisan The legitimate site may not even know that they are
being copied. If you just glance at them you would think it was the say company due to the webdesign and layout.
@affliatemoney grab the popcorn and the cooler and kick back in the easy chair. This is going to be more than just fireworks here in the US. We've got FTC, SEC, and who knows what other agencies will grab this bone.

I think this issue will heat up soon as Paybox.me has now announced transfers between users, funny money building up in an account is one thing but unregulated transfers are quite another.
Paybox.me has even suggested that people use this with Paypal or Alertpay IE I send you funny money via PBM, you send me real money via PayPal.
A few bad deals, some complaints to real payment processors or possibly government involvement and we should be seeing fireworks.
Grab your popcorn folks, the

Thanks for the info, Andy. I didn't know there were 2 Paybox sites. How come the legitimate one is not doing anything ? Or they are, but the legal processes are taking an eternity...

LOL Love the Old Scams Never die one, don't know how many times I have won the Nigerian National Lottery for $400 million U.S. Dollars or so. How many packages are waiting at the UPS Store for me to pay the insurance fee or customs taxes, etc.. Probably my favorites are the ones that ask you to receive invest, and then send back a portion minus your fee of this money so urgently needing protected from the estate of this dead person or embezzled from Iraq. The whole process describes money launde

Very bold, but the legit Paybox is based out of France and not very well known.. If not for the fact that I investigate stuff like this I would never have known there was a 'real' Paybox either!
Warren Day7
Wow, I thought this was too good to be true. I didn't realize there is paybox.com - Bold stuff. Maybe they can partner with Fake Facebook, Phoney Twitter and NotGoogle.com

It's really, we need to be advise, and don?t beleive all that we can read at any site. At some techniques like call themself scam or something like to later exposed that they are not scam, only catch people softly, and with bad reasons.
