How much useless CRAP do you have?
How many things do you have stored on your computer that at the time sounded like the greatest thing since sliced bread?
WELL!!... I have a TON. I am sure if I got rid of some of "My Stuff" my computer would run a whole lot faster.
WELL!!... I have a TON. I am sure if I got rid of some of "My Stuff" my computer would run a whole lot faster.
BUT... I am a pack rat. So for me to delete something it may cause a severe reaction like having a heart attack.
OK OK maybe not a heart attack but definitely a sever anxiety attack.
I know it is a sickness, I can't help it. I have a house just like my computer. PACKED FULL OF "MY STUFF"
Anyway, I have been taking inventory of "My Stuff" I am forgetting what I paid for it and am just focusing on how I could use what I already have.
And here is the key...I am NOT going to buy anything this WHOLE month.
NOTHING!!!! I am just going to utilize what I already have.

Gosh I am having withdrawals already and the month has just started.
I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Cindy, the title of this article is true on so many levels, outside of material hoarding. One's brain is the "original computer" and I am sure this article will inspire someone to write about 'crap' that is stored in the mind as well.
I also hoard junk that my spouse wants to haul-off to the landfill. I am also a recycler, I guess it is in my DNA.
Example, my grandmother made quilts out of old material. Some were scraps from tailored clothes, store-bought clothes, old garments worn by her

Well Cheryl I was adding up the money that I have spent for some of this useless CRAP. I had to STOP it made me ill.
I have things that I bought and never even used, NOT ONCE.
I really feel silly. I have no excuse except perhaps that one about more money than brains would apply here.

Oh my you sound like me but I don't buy things it mostly storage of outdated information. One of these days I'll get around to downloading all of it on a flash drive and cleaning out the garbage.
