· RELATIONSHIPS always start off on an
exciting note and for the next few years, the honeymoon rages on. Then the
pressures of work, children and social life take their toll.
· Most people at this time see this as a
lull in the relationship, one partner is cheating or the love game is gone. But
this is not necessarily so. Couples must make time for each other.
· It is easy when you have been together
for a while, to stop setting time aside to enjoy each other’s company. You both
need to “date each otherâ€.
· Once a month organize a baby-sitter,
wear something you feel great in and get out of the house together. It does not
need to be fancy or expensive, but it has to be just the two of you. You could
also try setting yourselves projects or goals and working towards them as a
couple. No matter how small the project is you can work well together and this
is time well spent.
· A lot of time we become complacent and
think the “honey†is gone and so the romantic side also takes a back seat. But
this is not so. You can tell your partner so much about how you are feeling
without saying a word.
