My Experience Online
More than 4 years now, since trying to find some decent income earning online, is quite an experience. When I started, all the while I thought it was a necessary everyday thing to do work online. My real-time work as a non-life insurance general agent was declining. I had to find something that would augment the income I was deriving from it!
Surfing around, I noticed that PTRs, PTCs and Paid-to-Posts were being promoted heavily. So I got into some that were more popularly promoted. Most, if not all, were saying earn .01 per click or per read! I saw this as 1 cent per click or email read! To my consternation, it was a fraction of a cent! Anyway, I said to myself it was just for starters so I went along with it. Along with that, I registered with a site that pays for articles posted. So these, kept me busy for about three (3) months. They were all earning but reaching minimum payout was far from realization.
At around that time, the scammers offering $50.00 per click, read or surf came out. I fell for a couple of them and I am glad that I realized early that they were scams. It was worth it to experience them and joining some forums made me learn more about those scams. In one of the paid-to-post sites, MyLot, is where I learned a lot. My sponsor there was an even older person than I am who also learned earning online the hard way. But he is mighty successful earning handsomely, the easy way online. His way is more on building downlines through referrals. It did not appeal to me so I looked for other means.
I found my way through writing online. My first break was doing blog advertising. It was assigning several tasks a month and paying well until it was also affected by the economy. I also learned about traffic sites. There is a well known traffic site, TrafficSwarm, that even accused me of using an automated surfing! I was so consistent in the credits I like to earn and the time I surfed that their system detected it as an automated surfer! Those traffic sites almost enslaved me daily with social sites that promised to pay!
For almost a year now, I have been inactive with those sites that needed daily attention for hours. What I have been working online are those that I could work on at least once a week that pays well. For traffic sites, I only work 6 of them that also requires only a minimum attention or work. It is gratifying to earn more for less work compared to when I was working much and hardly reached minimum payout.

Hi Jaz! Thanks for the notes here. Are we already connected at LinkedIn? I guess I have to check on it after I'm done with this.

Benny, we started out quite similiar. Some of those traffic exchanges are owned by the same network of IT gurus. I dare not disclose sites in this comment; however, I will be happy to share how some are connected as well as their preLaunch dates. Visit my business article LinkedIn LIONs.
