In response to Jean D'Andrea's posting about spam over at QCWG I thought I would offer a report I recently received from Bradley Smith.

Believe me, this report covers spam from A-Z!  All the way from where and when it started in the 1800's to how to deal with it, but even more importantly from my point of view, how to avoid being labeled a spammer and still be able to market effectively.

Some of the facts I learned shocked me!  I was not aware of the penalties, and some of the ways an innocent person just trying to make a buck could get in trouble.

Here are some of the topics covered:

How to Avoid Being Accused of Spamming

How to comply with the CAN-SPAM act

Best Practice Mailing Strategies

Building Trust with Customers

Unsubscription

Whitelisting

eMailing people who have purchased from you

Spam filters and blockers

How spammers collect email addresses

Spamming robots

Spam Filter Trigger Words

How to check if you've been blacklisted

Alternative methods to getting your emails read, and more!

This report normally sells for $27.00, but I have setup a special offer for APSense/QCWG members of $12.00.

I don't want anyone to feel obligated to purchase this product from me, I just feel that the info is WELL worth the investment.
