WHERE DO YOU START?!

If you're feeling a bit uncertain about how to proceed, here's some advice, based on the successes (and failures) of hundreds of people who have come before you.

*P.S* Yes, you might say that you have seen these points from other E-books/website. I am typing out this blog based on my memory and observation from others, so, of course, most of the points will be repeated. But please understand I am not blatantly copying from anyone. If you disagree with my points, please feel free to comment. I am open to critics/comments. ^^

APPEAL TO THE BROADEST AUDIENCE

Have a product/service that can appeal to a wide audience. This will increase the chances of visitors viewing your website.

For example, you can have an E-book that is for BOTH people thinking about starting a business AND those who already have one. And your potential market is immediately doubled!

Some may argue that you should target a small targeted audience, so as to minimize competition from others. Personally, if you are just starting up, I would recommend you to have a more general approach first. To get a “feel” how things go and work from these experiences.

BUILD A SOLID REPEAT CUSTOMER BASE

This part is trickier. It requires you to be creative in adding personality in your website. The more unique is your website or product/service, the more likely your customers would come back, wanting to know more about you or your products/services.

There are thousands and one tools/ways to help improve your sales conversion like SEO, Article Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, PPC Advertising etc. These would help you get your first sales from your customers.

But personally I feel that your product/service has to be UNIQUE and COMPELLING in order for your customers want to know more. I am not very experienced in this field, all I know it is not an easy task to ensure repeat sales.

WHY PROMOTE ONLY ONE PRODUCT?

We have seen countless of web sites that are a big mish-mash of unrelated affiliate links – the online equivalent of a "flea market" -- tends to turn visitors off in a big hurry.

You'll have MUCH greater success if you start off by focusing on one product, and devote all of your resources and energies to marketing it aggressively.

Hope this blog helps. All the best in your future business opportunities!
