Are You Utilizing ALL The APSense Features?

APSense is a wonderful business social network. There isn't another site that can hold a candle to it for the business person. Whether you have a small business or large one. APSense has given all of us the tools to succeed with our online dealings. 

APSense is run by members, in the since that we are building our own groups, networks and now iChannels. APSense has always kept their eyes and ears open to all of our suggestions. And they will keep those lines of communication open.

APSense has a clear vision and keeps striving to be the best they can be. Now it is time to put the focus where it belongs. Building your business. That is what I am doing, along with many others. Sure, I like to socialize too and I will continue to do that.  I have found it very easy to do both of these here.

APSense is here to supply us with the tools and knowledge we need to be successful. The rest is up to us. I have been building my business by paying attention to the following areas.

The first area you have is your profile. This is where you may get your first opportunity to spark some interest in yourself or your business. Have you uploaded an avatar? Sure a photo of yourself is usually better received, but it doesn't have to be a picture of you. It could be a picture of something related to your business or something that shows a little bit of personality. Then write a few lines about yourself or your business. Your profile also contains the last 5 blogs you have written. Under your blogs you will see your bulletins listed. This is another way to reach more members than just those in your network. Also in your profile people will see your groups that you have started and a definition of each. So it is important to have clear descriptions of all your groups. Your iChannels are listed under your groups. Your profile also shows the latest members who have been added to your network. So, if you have managed to get someones interest, they may join one of your groups or your iChannels. And they will most likely visit your business center.

Your business center is your window to display and promote yourself and your business or programs. Be creative, don't be afraid to show some of your personality. The ideas are endless as to what can be accomplished in your business center. It is important to keep them updated. I have seen some that have remained unchanged for months. This may work for some. But, I think it is important to add new things, update old phrases. You are trying to build a center that not only attracts a visitors attention, but one that will also bring them back.

Now we have iChannels. This is a wonderful way of building a group of people who wish to subscribe and be kept up to date on the goings on of your business and programs. This is a great way to keep in touch and eliminate the spam issue. This is definitely a move of the future. Members and non-members have the option of subscribing to your iChannel. So if you haven't already set one up, you should at least consider doing this.

These are all ways that others learn a little about you and your business. Everyone that visits these different areas will leave with some perception of you and your business. Then there is the final way that others members to get to know you. And that is by your posting here at APSense.

All communities have the strictly business crowd. The fun loving crowd. The drama crowd. The people who are new to being online and those of us who are old timers. The point I am making is that there are many different people that have the opportunity to see what you write here. And these are the same people who may become your friend or your affiliate, or a future customer.

So sometimes it is a good idea to step back and ask yourself a couple questions about your post. Does your post contain quality content? Does your content state the facts and is it your own material? If it isn't have you given proper credit? It is nice to have a title that gives at least a hint about the topic. Sure shock titles work....as do some heated discussions. As many will look at them, as it is human couriosity... just as most people will slow down to look at a car wreck. I am by no means saying that certain subjects are off limits( except for those that break tos ).  I am just suggesting that it is always a good idea to be respectful of each other. And to use the proper channels when necessary. Because people will make judgements about you by your postings here. Because that also is human nature.
