If my kids - all three of them - would just learn that mom likes to do other things besides pick up after them, the general house cleaning would be ok.....HAHA
I really hate dusting... Where does all of the dust come from?
That why it's imperative that we all had better become rich or well to do enough to afford the new self-cleaning houses that are being built! :)
Also, Remember 'The Law Of Attraction"?
The more you PASSIONATELY hate something, the more likely you are to manifest the damn thing in your Life! :) LOL! :)
So QUALIFY your statements.... eg: " I dislike housework at the present moment, but It will all be much less taxing in my fully self-maintaining Mansion!"... and remember to smile!
"before I put my latex gloves on and go scrub some pots. (toilets) YUCK! "
Ahhh the " throne" the "Porcelin God" LOL
But I can't just dust, I've got to take down the curtains, clean the blinds, wash the windows, wash the mirrors...no wonder it's taking me three days.
Oh Mizrae you want to come play house here I dust (sometimes with the little attachment from the vacuum) just to get it done. Everything else will keep, LOL
I can help move furniture Took me one afternoon in our bedroom ROFLMAO
How did I miss THIS discussion! Boy, can I ever relate, almost anything is more important than housework. I hate it with a passion. That's why on the goal setting blog I set a goal to clean something everyday! I have been cleaning and shifting furniture in my bedroom for the last 3 days.. well, maybe more. But I can't just dust, I've got to take down the curtains, clean the blinds, wash the windows, wash the mirrors...no wonder it's taking me three days. All those computer breaks and talki
I wonder if we will get any guys here...ha..ha. That would be great!
Okay..don't mean to stereotype, I'm sure some guys help out in the house too. I personally have a friend who actually does all of the housework and cooking, takes care of the kids, and works too. I call him "Super Man"! I look up to him...lol.
Just thought I would "POP" into Apsense for a minute, before I put my latex gloves on and go scrub some pots. (toilets) YUCK!
Me again, Penny. Forgot to mention that at first the snakes didn't like the
vacuum cleaner, but they're used to it now. They are sensitive to vibrations
though, so I don't play really loud music very much.
I didn't think we'd get many guys in here, that's for sure!
And you caught me again - have just prepared dinner, and have come
in here to see what's in my inbox - once again with a python around me.
It's a different one this time, and I guess it is natural to me to have one
out of its cage when I can play with it.
That's another thing that's more fun than housework, but you gotta
clean the snake cages too! :-)
I laughed when I came here and saw all the girls' faces. Says it all, doesn't it?!!
You are great, Jean. I love the way you just mention in passing about the snake, as though it is as natural as the glass of water. Do they mind the vacuum cleaner? I've heard that they are sensitive to vibration.
Wendy, I normally dust first before vacuuming, and sometimes have the vacuum going while I dust to catch any dust that gets into the air. A lot of our furniture is black timber, and it shows
Have just got back to the computer, after having vacuumed, cleaned the laundry,
toilet and bathroom. I haven't done the dusting yet, but usually after the vacuuming.
Am sitting here with a cold glass of water, and a small python draped around my
shoulders, taking a break.
Maybe this afternoon, I'll get around to those two new programs which are sitting
there just waiting to be played with..........
Gardening and being on the PC are much more fun than housework.
I hope you were able to enjoy your new programs.
I'm pulling myself away from the computer right now..lol.
My husband just asked if I would do Thanks Giving this year. So... My house is a disaster right now..lol. I may be have not have the pleasure of spending too much time on Apsense for a about a week.
I'm with you - I HATE HOUSEWORK
In fact, I'm so far behind, that I've declared this morning to be a housework
time, and as soon as I can get myself off this computer, then I'm getting
the duster and the vacuum cleaner out, and do some.
Not a lot, but enough to ease my conscience. Besides, there's a couple of
new programs I've downloaded that I want to play with...............
