How do you promote?
Let's say a person(like me) is just starting out with this internet business idea. They seach the internet for affiliate programs and just get slammed with free this and that. They join places like clickbank and paydotcom. Then try to promote the items that they signed up for. After a few weeks the money just isn't coming. What is the best way to make money without a website? Can it be done? What have successful people done to get started and then grow? Any tips and pointers would be great.

It’s not the best way to make money online, but to answer your question… To become a Netpreneur (online entrepreneur or businessman/woman), you have few choices:
1. Join quality affiliate programs. Make sure that the owner pays well. ClickBank can help, but if you don’t have some experience in marketing online, you’ll be scared about the amount of info and affiliate programs found there. Better

Starting a business seems to be dificult online. I have an online auction site.I have been promoting it on several sites like Iwebtools. I have 168 registered users. So it is a slow process, I have not had much luck with affiliate programs my self so I don't know what to tell you there. Good luck let me know how it goes I will help if I can.
