If you wish to setup the Telstra Email on your android device, you can take help from our troubleshooting process that can help you transit seamlessly. From setting up your email to getting you remote access and effortlessly sending and receiving emails on Bigpond, our experts can help you with everything.

In case, you would like to go for the manual setup of Telstra Bigpond Email, you must have detailed knowledge of the Servers, their names, port numbers and which configuration you must choose, POP or IMAP etc.

However, IMAP and POP both sort of configurations, let you download emails to your phone, computer or tablet. The only difference between these account configurations is that in IMAP, you can sync emails and store them on webmail server, so if you access your emails from anywhere, or make changes to them, the changes will be updated to each device you’re logged in with the same account.

Whereas, in POP, you won’t be able to sync emails and store them on the server. So, if you make changes to your Bigpond email account in any device, they won’t reflect in any other device.

But if you’re using your Bigpond Email on POP account and wish to switch from POP to IMAP, there are high chances that your data with POP account might be lost.

To prevent this data loss, first login to the Webmail and recreate them before you switch.
