I just found Summify and started to use it today. It's a different way to enjoy Twitter and Facebook stories. In the past people turned to TV and radio or newspaper for news. Today everybody is getting their news mainly from the social networks they’re part of. This can be overwhelming with every contact sharing news about everything many times a day.

Summify automatically identifies the most important news stories across social networks you belong to and delivers it as a personalized email digest in your email inbox!
It’s not need another RSS feeder. By default, Summify sends its users five stories once a day. You can pick the number of stories and the frequency to get stories in email box, once a day or every few hours. Users connect their RSS feeds, Twitter accounts, and Facebook profiles to Summify. Then Summify works upon what feeds you follow and what your friends are talking about and provides you with top stories and stories. The resulting list is e-mailed to you directly. It can’t get more simple than this.
