I wrote about a tool I use to manage my time, blogs and articles on twitter and Facebook in another group here on Apsense. I think it can help others here in this group too.  I don't like to duplicate information if I can help it so I'll keep it short, simple and to the point.  I'll also add another tool that is just as useful!

As business builders we are always looking for tools to fit into our
budget to get our information in front of people, wouldn't you say. These tools I am going to share with you are not a secret it's just that not a lot of people know about them. These tools I use allow me to free up time to work other things like learning new things from other people and researching new ways to promote my products/services. They are tools that funnel traffic to my site from Twitter and Facebook. If I write something on my blog or another social site it will automatically update on facebook and twitter. I won't have any need to go to facebook and twitter to manually update the information.

What are these tools?

The first one is Twitterfeed.com. After signing up for a free account all that is required to set up are the feeds that create the funnels. Get yourself familiar with RSS feeds because this site uses them to connet your information to Facebook and Twitter. When I write a post on my blog the informaiton goes to twitterfeed.com and then feeds the information to twitter and facebook.

Pretty cool, isn't it?

Check it out, I set mine information up to go directly to twitter and then my twitter feed is connected to facebook. So, instead of the information going to two different locations the information goes in a direct line as follows:

blog post
to
twitterfeed
to
twitter
to facebook

The next one is networkedblog.net. this is a facebook tool that allows you to add your blog to facebook. When you post something new on your blog it updates on your profile to let everyone know you just posted on your blog.

These are two great tools to use to funnel traffic to your site  or blog from facebook and twitter. The best part about these tools is that they are 100% free.

Lonnie

Thank you everyone for your comments!

Harold an RSS feed is most commonly know as "Really Simple Syndication". To define it in a more simple term it is a feed that allows us to frequently publish updated works from blog postings, articles, news feeds and more to other sites. For example: If you had a blog that provide useful information I was interested in, I could subscribe to your information by using your blogs RSS feed. I would place the RSS feed, lets say, on my blog for my readers to view any new posting you may write in the future.

I hope this helps but Joe is right there is a group that has more information on the subject.

Twitterfeed.com is a pretty cool tool when you want to get the information out automatically to twitter and facebook. I have been doing some research and found a way to create a larger funnel of at least 4 sites. Write and article and it automatically lets everyone know on 3 other sites that you just made a post.

I will be adding the info to another group at http://www.apsense.com/group/105648 I will be adding instruction videos so, watch for my posting on the funnel creation.
