Don't Worry About It !!!

Yes, I know - it's easier said than done, not to worry about something. Try to find
a way of putting something out of your mind, and give yourself a break.
This morning, while walking around delivering brochures, an old saying which helps me
a lot came to mind, so I thought I'd share it with you.
"Sufficient unto the day the evil thereof"
This is what I used to quote to myself, whenever I discovered that I was
worrying about the future. After all, there's usually enough to worry about
today, without worrying about tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.
When you're feeling a little down, it's very easy to slip down further, especially
if you're worrying over something which may or may not happen, so please
do try to concentrate on what you're doing today.
And remember, if you have problems, and you're storing them up, it's best to find
someone to talk to. Who knows- they may have just the answer for you.
Anyway, just thought I'd tell you about this little quote, which has been
very helpful, especially when I was really down in the black pit of depression.
Not sure where it comes from, but it does sound biblical, so if you know, tell us
the source, please.

I can't find this as an actual quote but when I did a search through Bible Gateway it referred me to a related passage 2 Thessalonians 1 Jun 21st 2008 09:08 |

Hi Cheryl, Thanks for looking it up. I wasn't sure if it was biblical or not, it just sounded that way. I just found the actual quote - here's the site, with various versions http://bible.cc/matthew/6-34.htm Jean Jun 21st 2008 17:40 |
Thanks Jean, I'll have to see if I can find that
