What not to do when you are new to internet Marketing?

When you are new to the internet and internet marketing especially you will be very keen to explore what sort of money you can make. However there are a great
many pitfalls awaiting the unweary. The internet is full of people that will take your money off you very quickly, the very first thing you need to watch is anything for free. In this life there is nothing for free, it may
not cost you money, but it has a habit of stealing your time and disk space. Everywhere you turn someone will be offering you things for free.
Another thing that will happen you will get mislead by sweet talk and outrageous claims. People offering to build your business for you is utter rubbish.
You will be asked to join countless things in the future. Most of which will be not worth the effort on your part. Do not get me wrong, internet marketing is a very profitable business. However it is just that, a business
and as such you have to treat it like that. Be careful of others that seem to good to be true because you may find they are just that.
A tip I want to give you is simply this
1: Ask yourself if what you are about to do is going to enhance your business, or will it hurt your efforts. Then you will know the answer. Stay focussed
at all times and remain committed to your business.
Because we work from home we often tend to think we can only work when we want to. This will never bring Success so do not do it.

 Clarks Handmade GiftsI totally agree with Anthony and Collette, that is why I do my research and only go for the Completely Free ones. There are some out there and they do pay, I can definately attest to that. I have done it. I didn't get rich, that is not what it is all about, I have been making a few hundred dollars steadily for the last 3 months, now that I have grasped the concept of making the commitment to do the work to make it work. Collette's NaturalsHello Heather, Yes there some supposed Free ones out there but in reality they really are not free as you have website costs (affiliate marketing), advertising costs or /and you need to buy from them to earn commisson and so on. The true online business model is just that it is a business, you need to have product in order to earn money....to get product you have to purchase it. Great article Anthony, Thank you for joining the group. I have to agree wiht you about the supposed "free" businesses out there. Some ARE free to join etc but you still have to pay money for advertising etc.
Now some businesses offer you a FREE marketing system and leads and/or free corp website and marketing tools to help you build your business when you join are fine. As companys which do this, I have found, tend to be more supportive of thier members and wish only to help them succeed.
